Week 2 of College

Week two is officially done. I swear, these have been the slowest yet longest two weeks of my life. It's so strange. I haven't gone home once, proud to say. Though I wasn't around that first weekend as I went to a wedding (not with my family). That led to being up until 2:30 in the morning Sunday night finishing up the homework I should have done prior...

Do your homework, guys. Monday sucked. I think I fell asleep in my lecture.

Other than that my week wasn't too exciting. Classes, homework, studying. The usual. I'm finally getting into the pattern of where my classes are and when I have them. It's a strange thing to get used to after twelve years of strict 7:00 am-3:00 pm or whatever the average school day is.

Oh, finally did some laundry, though! That was interesting. Trying to figure out those stupid machines. And yes, I did learn how to do laundry before coming here. I just didn't take into account the fact that these machines are not an exact replica of mine...should have thought of that. We figured it out, though.

Eventually. Only took us a couple of tries...definitely going to remember the soap next time...

This past weekend things really started to get interesting. Let's just say I'm finally making some connections, and I finally see what Hollywood was talking about when they tried to portray college. I won't get into it too much, but read my tips on partying, guys. I wrote them for a reason.
